Dear Tom & Bonnie, Elaine & Ron, and all the McIntyre family
My sincere condolences and prayers. I only heard this morning that Des had died this week. I have very happy memories of Des and Marguerite during my time in Renfrew. What a tease he was! Half the time it was hard to tell if he was pulling my leg or telling the truth with that twinkle in his eye.

The Sirosky family would like to express our sincerest sympathies on the loss of this wonderful gentleman. Des & Marguerite were lifelong friends to mom & dad and they enjoyed many good times together. Card playing, dancing and of course so many great meals together. Des had an amazing sense of humor and will always be remembered with a smile. As children we often went to the farm where we grew potatoes and as mom recalls... we had to avoid being hit by the boys throwing them at us. We have so many great memories and he will be sorely missed. You will be in our prayers. All our love Mamie, Lois & Jim, Fran, Sandra & Wally, Romayne & Rodger, Phil & Angela and John & Sylvia.

Condolences to the family and friends of the late Desmond. I had the pleasure of meeting Desmond at numerous card parties he attended, but the private parties held in the homes of friends is where we enjoyed the pleasure of his company.
We had so may memorable moments playing bid euchre and by golly Des was never apprehensive to outbid his opponents and he often as not would win the hand,
If he lost, he never worried, for he was a good sport and exercised that sportsmanship always.,
RIP Des and get the cards, score sheets and the tables ready for us all .
