Obituary of John Alfred Page

Peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Sunday June 13, 2021 at the age of 92, John went to join his beloved wife Joan Tubman Page, who predeceased him after 27 years of marriage on June 20, 2020. John was also predeceased by his wife Kay Hardcastle Arnold to whom he was married for 38 years. He will be sadly missed by his stepchildren Brian Arnold, Kent Tubman (Marg), Ellen (John Toomey) and Andrew Tubman (Eryn Sinclair). Dear Grandpa of Greg Belmore (Briana), Mark Belmore (Stacey), Amanda Tubman (Mike), Christina Eady (Christopher), Patricia Riopelle (Brayden), Nina Tubman and Beth Tubman. Proud great-grandpa of Noah & Drew Eady, Anna & Lily Riopelle and Charlotte Belmore. John was a kind man, a real Gentleman, a friend to everyone he met. He loved fishing, woodworking, gardening, bird watching and wintering in Florida. Above all, he loved being with his family at quiet get togethers or larger, louder special occasions. John will be fondly remembered by family, neighbours and friends alike. A private visitation and service will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S, Renfrew on Saturday June 19th. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Calabogie. A recording of the services will be available for viewing on Saturday after 3:00 pm.
