To Gail, Kathy, Tracy and all of your families. I was sad to hear of Uncle Allan's passing. I have memories going to your house in Richmond and really liking that there was always a lot of people and feeling welcome. I hadn't seen Uncle Allan in a very long time but when I think of him I remember his grin and maybe a little teasing too. I am sure you will all miss him very much. - Debbie

Gail, Kathy and Tracy : My sincere condolences to all of you. Your Dad had a tremendous impact on who I was, when I worked for him and what I came to be, as I moved on in life.
He was my Mentor.
He helped me buy my first car ( and snowmobile ). He taught me how to tune it up, change the oil and tires and carry out repairs on it myself.
He taught me how to treat everyone with a smile and respect and not to take them for granted.
He taught me how to handle angry people and resolve conflict to each others satisfaction.
He taught me business sense and how to run one.
He helped me acquire my first full time job.
In short, he trusted me and provided me with opportunities and skills, I carry with me to this day and will forever be grateful to him for.
And OH Yes ! He taught me how to laugh and enjoy the company of Friends and Family.
Rest in Peace Al, we will all miss you.

Dear Gail, Kathy and Tracy; Richmond always was a small town and I now realize how connected our lives were. Growing up, the saying "it takes a village to raise a child" meant a lot. Your parents and grandparents were part of the fabric that made it so special. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families as you come to terms with the death of your father. Laura (Hartin) Tupper

Dear Gail, Kathy, Tracy and Family
I was very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, he lived a full and interesting life and had many stories to share.
I have so many childhood memories of times shared with your family, snowmobiling, swimming in your pool, visiting your aunts/uncles and grandparents homes, your Dad's garage in Ottawa and then again when you moved to Chesterville. Both of your parents were so kind and generous.
Thinking of all of you at this sad time, and hope that this message will somehow help to show, that you're thought of and cared about more than you'll ever know.
With my deepest sympathy
Sandra Wytenburg

I had the privilege of meeting your dad in the fall of 2019. We chatted about his home and a little about life in general , real estate and the neighbourhood. I could tell in the short time that I spent with him that he a was a kind, respectful, gentleman.I am happy I had the opportunity to meet him.

Allan had a pretty unique cart and the first time I saw it ,suggested he show it off at our ladies golf event at the renfrew golf club.
he thought that would be a great idea.
I have to admit it was a complete success, the ladies loved his caddy/golf cart and Allan loved the ladies.
will miss his sense of humor and most of all his smile !
