Condolences and sympathies to all who knew and loved Geraldine. I have many fond memories of her when we both worked at RVH. She was so placid and kept her calm always in any storm. You will be missed by so many people and there are plenty of women who can attest to the comfort and reassurance you provided them while working on OBS. Our deepest sympathy to both the Stroud and Friske families! We were shocked to learn very recently of Geraldine's sickness and then extremely saddened to hear of her passing shortly thereafter.

Although I am not currently a part of your family, I was for 34 years. During that time I always had the utmost respect for my then sister-in-law Geraldine. She was always caring, direct, bright, honest and a true family person. It is truly sad that she was taken so young but she gave so much to this earth and her family and I am certain will be remembered and missed forever by many. To my Friske cousins:
I have lots of memories of growing up with your family. Quite often on a Sunday afternoon, you would all pile into your station wagon and come visit us at our farm. In turn, we would frequently go to your home on Thompson Hill. Aunt
Lila and Uncle Joe were always welcoming and generous in their hospitality. As well, I remember that collectively you had a great comic book collection that you shared with us. You were the best! I know that without doubt you will miss Geraldine. It’s very difficult to lose a sibling. There are no words to describe the magnitude of the loss. Treasure your memories.
