What a wonderful man Ed was. It was always a pleasure to serve him in my shop and the conversations could go on for hours. He will surely be missed by many. May his beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. God bless.

Got to know Ed from our Elementary School days and through into our teens. We enjoyed many good times playing cards and sharing stories. I recall visiting him a few times while he lived and worked in Ottawa and spoke with many times when he worked in the Renfrew Post Office. He always greeted me with a smile when I looked in on him while he resided at Bonnechere Manor. Was saddened to here of his passing and wish to offer my sympathy to his siblings, family and friends. God bless him. RIP, ED.

To the Lee family
So sorry to hear about Eddie ' s passing. We grew up further up Peter Street so we've lost another great childhood friend. Eddie worked at the Post Office with my dad, M J Bolger and he was a valued employee. Then after dad died suddenly in 1970 Eddie was very good to mom which showed his giving nature. After I left Renfrew then moved to New Brunswick I would read in the Renfrew paper about his "acting" skills which I'm sure brought laughter and joy to all. Take care and know that Eddie is looking out for you all from a different place. On Christmas Eve go outside and look up in the sky. If you see a star that's brighter than the rest know that it is Eddie saying "HI".
