Saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. She was an absolute joy to have as a patient for many years. I’d enjoy when she would tell me of making and delivering her homemade soup to the elderly, most of whom were younger than her! Her daily exercise routine, nighttime toddy and occasional smoke kept her younger than her years. Enjoy your reunion with Big Jim !

I will always remember the first time I met Mary she was coming down the hall at the Bonnechere Manor and I thought to my self she is the sweetest granny every. We became very good friends while I worked there. I loved her spunk her sass and her enjoyment for life. She was a women filled with wisdom charm and a wonderful way of making you feel excited to be around her. I truly loved every minute I got to spend with her. I will never forget you (Sweet Granny) may you Rest In Peace after a wonderful life lived your one of a kind that will not easily be forgotten. Love Colleen ❤️

I always enjoyed having a chat with Mary when I would be at the Manor to help out in the chapel for Mass on Thursdays. I liked her so much and so enjoyed her sense of humour. I was never quite sure just what she was going to come out with. She was a sweet, sweet lady and I'm going to miss her very much. Bonnechere Manor won't be the same without Mary. My sympathy to her family. May she rest in peace.

My condolences. My grandma Theresa often shared fun stories about aunty Mary, and taught us some of aunty Mary's witty "sayings". She held a special place in grandma's heart and I know they are overjoyed to be reunited again. ❤

Auntie Mary lived in the Pine Falls area when I was a young mother raising a family. She was certainly a Spitfire that I looked up to an admired. I was never sure what was going to come out of her mouth and I would either be laughing my head off or shocked to death! She will be sadly missed. But I'm sure her and Mama will be having a black Russian right about now. Miss you for always auntie. Lisa kemball Pine Falls Manitoba
