Condolences to the Deacon family on the passing of your Mom , Nannie and Great Nannie. I remember babysitting For her and Stan when they would go partying with my parents Frank and Marilyn Lafont. There where 5 children then. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. Many nights enjoyed in White Lake on a Friday night playing euchre with Shirley and Stan. The laughter and the joking will always be remembered. The connection to White Lake always brought great conversation with the locals.

My sincere sympathies and condolences to the family and close friends of Shirley.. Shirley bowled in the Senior's league in Renfrew for a number of years and was without a doubt the greatest sports minded person there. Shirley was a team captain but extended her help to any player participating regardless of team or team standing. She had a delivery that was envied by many, and I am a 100 % positive that ball never hit the lane until it was directly there in front of the pins. Shirley had a very strong belief in God and never doubted anything that came her way. I recall her telling me " Lynn, this is our lot in life and God is watching to see where we are going with it and how we are going to handle it." Yepper Shirley, you right on with that, You will be missed by many, but all the good deeds you ever did and all the kind things you ever said will be a pleasure to recall. RIP
