The last of this generation is now gone with Uncle Arnel's (Frank) death. It was always fun listening to his tall tales and laughing with him as he recalled his shenanigans. His memory recall even in his 90's was astonishing, and always in great detail. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the death of your dear Father. I met him through the Renfrew County Fiddlers and spoke to him a couple times on the telephone and always made a point of talking with him when he came to a couple of our functions. He was a sweet, pleasant and very kind man. He was so alert for his age and seemed to have a sense of humour. I only wish that I had met him years earlier to have had the chance of getting to know him better. May he be enjoying everlasting peace with God in Heaven.
Sincerel, Darlene Meleskie.

I have so may memories of Frank our cottage was next door - Frank was always there to help out whenever needed - he was so kind and never got upset at us and we used to do some pretty stupid things. He guided us gently and always let us pick worms on his grass and then we sold them to Crunch for a quarter a dozen. Best memories are fishing mud-pout up the creek with Frank and he saved a baby groundhog once we have pictures playing with it. He was a wonderful man, my deepest sympathy to all of his family.

when i first met Frank i was at a meeting for Chelsea, we talked for sometime about his love for his grandchildren, and how he wanted learn how to play a fiddle, or take up dancing. He had such great plans for her. As for Catlin he wanted him to play hockey and grow up to enjoy life. i am glad i got to know him. my condolences to all his family.
