Hi Anne-Marie and Michael, my sincere sympathy on the death of Michael. He is at peace now after some difficult health issues in his last few years.His death is a reminder to the rest of us that we shall follow him at some point to the next life.Let us be happy that we had him with us on this earth for so many years..My regrets that i will not be able to get home for the funeral so please say hello to all his brothers and sisters, most of whom i knew from my school days at St. Michael's.

As a child my favorite part of heading to Ontario to visit was to see the Candy Man....uncle mike. He always made you feel like the most special person in the world during your time with him. Trips to the creamery for ice cream were never negotiable...even if it was later at night. Even as we got older his smile would light up the room when he saw you walking in for the first hug during our visits. He had a true love for his family ...all his family that I wish everyone could experience in life. Uncle Mike you will be missed. I have always held you close to my heart even as I grew and my visits down east were less and less. Mom always made sure to tell me all about you when she would visit. And now...you will get to meet with her again..I love you always and forever
