To my Poppa
I will miss you picking me up from school on Friday to go to your house for a sleepover. I will miss playing cribbage after supper with our cup of tea. You taught me how to play cribbage and you would be so proud when I had a really good hand. I will miss how we use to tease each other and how we would pick on Grandma. I remember one day I asked you why you liked burnt toast and you said it was because you were use to Grandma's burnt cooking. I remember Grandma heard you and said "WHAT?" and we laughed. We knew she was a good cook but it was fun to pick on her together. I miss you and I love you so much Poppa.

My fondest memory is Lawrence’s kindness when he would drive to Pembroke to drop off or pick up my Mom (Ethel) to bring her to visit her family in Quyon. Mom was always so greatfull and enjoyed her time with Lawrence.

My condolences to the Tracey family. We all had so much fun growing up as kids and going to school in North Onslow. Lawrence had a very unique outlook on life and got a lot of laughs. I really liked his character anytime I ever saw him.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in learning of the sudden illness and death of Lawrence. I have known the TRACEY family most of my life and attended St Mary's High School in Quyon with Lawrence and his siblings. We played on the same hockey and football teams and always greeted each other as "someone I've known forever". I last spoke to Lawrence in June at Pine Lodge at the monthly "Quyon Boys" breakfast. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to spend time with this kind, funny and caring man this September. I got to see first hand how much he cared about his family and how you all rallied around him.
