My heartfelt sympathy at this difficult time. Growing up I spent many an hour at my Grandma Shannon’s in the presence of Emmett and Stan. They provided me many laughs and sage advice on life. Now that they are together again heaven has been enriched and the pranks will begin! Emmett was a fine man and will be missed by all who knew him.

First of all I want to express my condolences to the Gray family. My deepest sympathy. I'm sure all of you will have lots of fond memories, as Emmitt had a great sense of humour. If memory serves my correctly he pulled a home-made arrow out of the corner of my eye when Mike and eye where role playing a Popeye-WilliamTell cartoon. Mike was always smarter than me..lol. Emmitt had a quick wit and liked to tease, but it was always in good fun. Celebrate the memories and good times.

I had the privilege of being mentored by Emmett at the Chenaux plant in the mid-sixties. He was a very kind man, who was always willing to share his time and expertise. We have fond memories of Emmett and Jack Craig and their families, welcoming and involving Gayle and myself in many social activities during our time in Renfrew. I also enjoyed helping coach his young sons in hockey. To all the family we send our heartfelt sympathy at Emmett's passing. He was a fine and gentle man.

He was a great husband, father, friend, uncle, grandfather ~ but most of all he was a GREAT man.
Thank you for the wonderful memories, Emmett.
