Obituary of Ian Alexander Hutchison

Ian fought hard to stay with us but finally succumbed to his cancer on Thursday September 19th, 2019. He will be sadly missed by his loving life-partner of 20 years Gladys Clarke. He will be fondly remembered by her children Chris Leclaire,  Deborah Stone and grandchildren, especially Brittany and Kyle.  He will also be fondly remembered by members of the Clarke family. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Dr. Pinard as well as the wonderful staff of RVH and the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their compassionate care during his illness.  

Ian was raised in Toronto and earned his Engineering Degree at the University of Toronto.  He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Kathleen (Tiedemann) and by his brother Robert.  Ian will be laid to rest at his family's burial plot in the Union Cemetery, Oshawa on  Monday September 23rd at 1:00pm.  Donations in Ian’s memory may be made to the Oncology Department of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.  Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Goulet Funeral Home.  Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
