Obituary of Carrie Anne Maheux

Carrie Anne Maheux (Dick), 34, of the Ottawa Valley and more recently Washington DC, made her final journey on December 16, 2016, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of Brent Maheux, devoted mother to her sweet Olivia. Born on April 7, 1982 to Terry and Connie (Russell) Dick. Best friend and sister to Amanda (Pat), daughter-in-law to Richard and Jaye, sister-in-law to Chad (Nathalie) and devoted aunt to Callie, Max, Tessa and Liam. Also survived by extended family and friends in the Ottawa Valley and Nova Scotia. Carrie is now resting peacefully with her beloved GG. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering loyalty, and an ability to forge meaningful relationships wherever she was. Her adventurous spirit led her down many of life’s paths. Carrie radiated a quiet strength and a warm heart. She never forgot an important event, or hesitated to plan a special occasion - she loved to make others happy. Carrie’s happily ever after came true with her marriage to Brent and the birth of her beautiful baby girl Olivia. Her spirit and memory will live on in all of our hearts.
