Obituary of Roderick Joseph Leclaire

“Hot Rod” Peacefully, at Hospice Renfrew surrounded by his family on Wednesday July 27, 2016 at the age of 69 after a hard battle with cancer. Beloved, husband of Ellen for 30 years. Proud and loving step-father of Charlie, Aggie (Guido), Margaret (Jesse), Cathy (Dave), Clarence, Mildred (Earl) and Gordon. Predeceased by his stepsons Eddie and Greg Shean and grandchildren Chris Shean and Stephanie Wright. Survived by his daughter in law Debbie. Rodney was the son of the late Emile and Beatrice (nee Lambert). Dear brother of C.J (Mary), Theresa McCormac (Larry), Garvin (Ann), Raymond, Linda (Ralph Schultz), Dennis (Barbara), Sandra (Brian Boeltge), Eddie, Kevin and brother in law of Rose. Predeceased by his brothers Marvin, T.J. , Melvin and Sam. Rodney will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and his little dog Nytrol. Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St., S, Renfrew on Friday July 29th from 2-4, 7-9pm and after 9:00am Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Renfrew on Saturday July 30th at 10:00am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
